Stephany Sofos, 1972 Priory graduate, was determined to succeed in a “man’s industry.” She says the Priory gave her the confidence to speak up and believe in herself. Learning values like morality and being in an atmosphere that allowed her to be her own person, the Priory lead her to be a successful business owner, realtor and appraiser.
Emi Hart, Priory Class of 1995, is the Community Manager for Yelp Honolulu. She says the all-girl environment of the Priory provided her with the best opportunity to learn and to become a leader and a risk-taker.
Dawn Imada Chan, Class of 1995, is the Headmaster of the Linden School in Canada. She says it was her time as a student at St. Andrew's Priory that instilled a passion for community service and ultimately led her down the path towards becoming an educator. She credits the all-girls environment and the excellent teachers at the Priory for encouraging her to excel and to develop her self-confidence. These are lessons she has passed down through her career.
U.S. Representative Colleen Hanabusa is a former high-ranking attorney and the first woman to head a legislative house in Hawaii. The foundations for her achievements were laid during her education at St. Andrew's Priory, an all-girls' school in Honolulu, HI. Congresswoman Hanabusa says being a Priory grad means having the ability to do everything you possibly can do and a network of friends you can count on for the rest of your life.
